KITTEN SALES CONTRACT & GUARANTEE
Sire: Dam: Sex: Birthdate: Selling Price: $ Color: Sold As: Pet My veterinarian and I recommend that NO FIP vaccination be used on this animal. We also recommend that no FeLV vaccination be used UNLESS there is a cat in the household that is allowed outdoors.
The Purchaser agrees to the following:
1. The purchaser intends to keep this cat permanently unless unusual circumstances prevent. If it becomes necessary to give the cat up, the purchaser will contact the breeder if he/she cannot locate a suitable home for the cat.
2. The cat will not be sold, leased, or given away to any pet shop, research laboratory, or similar facility.
3. The cat will not be allowed to roam freely outdoors and will be kept indoors unless accompanied or secured by a leash or pen.
4. The cat will be neutered/spayed between 5 months and 1 year of age, and will not be used for breeding.
5. Declawing is very objectionable.
6. If the cat is found to be neglected or mistreated, the purchaser will surrender the cat to the breeder, unconditionally.As the breeder, I guarantee:
1. The above kitten has been sold in good faith.
2. I guarantee health for a period of 48 hours from purchase and recommend a veterinary examination within these 48 hours (at buyers' expense). If the cat is found to be medically deficient within this time period, it may be brought back and I will refund the full purchase price.
3. The cat has been vaccinated with 1 of the Felomune CVR nasal/ocular (at approximately 3 weeks) and 2 of the Norden 3-in-1 vaccinations (on ________ and ________) at the ______________, by ______________.
4. If the cat should die within 6 months from date of birth, as a direct result of an unknown (at the time of purchase) congenital defect, the cat will be replaced with one of comparable value, but ONLY if an appropriate autopsy is performed by a qualified veterinarian and I am supplied with a statement or post mortem report from the veterinarian verifying the diagnosis of the cause of death.Date:_____________________
